Am I the only guy here who finds him incredibly sexy?

I've grown to have such a celeb crush on him. He's probably too femme by DLs standards though.

He's obviously a talented writer and he's good at playing David but he's not attractive in any way.

One weird thing is that it's hard to find a photo of him on line in a t-shirt (much less shirtless, and even much less naked) even though he's obviously got a good body. But he's always covered up from neck to cuff.

I find him extremely handsome. i love his thick glossy hair and his expressive thick eyebrows.

This is the only photo of him I've ever found that's shirtless. If this is really him, he has a fine body.

He's really not my type but I find him sexy for his talent and sense of humor.

Going back a few years, pre-SC but gives a better impression of what he can be like when he’s not playing David.

He is definitely the type that can grow on you. He is so far away from being the kind of guy I am attracted to - yet as the show went on he totally won me over. He's cute, charming, funny and very talented. What are ya gonna do?

I went to the recent Schitt's Creek Up Close and Personal evening in San Francisco. Dan acted as the moderator for the evening (on the panel were Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Annie Murphy, Emily Hampshire and Noah Reid), and based on that (which I realize is also a performance of sorts), I'd guess David Rose is Dan just turned up to 11 or 12. He was wearing a black motorcycle jacket, a silvery sweater and black designer cargo pants -- so, again, covered from the neck down. I'm sure I heard him say on some YouTube video that he had to wear two Spanx tshirts under his clothes for, I believe, a recent awards red carpet. Oh, topic: Yes, I find him attractive and funny. Also: Who do we have to fuck at Netflix for it to air The Great Canadian Baking Show? (Dan is one of the hosts and actually wears clothes in colors other than black, white or grey.)

He's very cute and funny but he gives off an exhausting, high-maintenance vibe.

He used to be thin but has gotten quite tubby. That's why he's covered up.

Schitt's Creek is the most underwritten "comedy" on TV. If they didn't have Catherine O'Hara, the show would have died in season one.

His personality seems fun and funny and find him pretty attractive. Kind of an opposites attract kind of thing.

What's not to like? He's handsome, creative, funny, smart and has hair that rates a 10+.

Daniel Rose is high maintenance, but I don't think David is that much. In interviews he repeatedly makes a point of staying humble, and he thinks there is nothing at all special about his looks. He likes fashion (like David Rose does), and spends a lot of attention as to how he dresses--I tthink that would be the only high maintenance thing about him.

I used to find him really hot when he was an MTV Canada VJ, but he got a little too pudgy and old looking.

Featureswise, he’s pretty perfect looking to me if one could ever pin down something as “perfect.” I tried to watch the show years ago but found it tedious, not my kind of humor.

I caught up with season 5. the show has outstayed its welcome and has become tiresome, which is ironic since it's finally beginning to obtain a large following.

Unfortunately, I agree with r2. When a guy opens his mouth and Liza's purse falls out, it's an instant boner killer.

I agree. He's great, but lately he looks acts like he is in "Orphans of the Storm" or some other silent movie. Relax your face David. (When she does it, it's cute though).

Hairy chest, too, I'm guessing, from the nanosecond glimpses we've seen of a top shirt button undone. I had to laugh at him wearing a tshirt under his pajamas in the recent SCreek slumber-party episode (Noah Reid did not wear one under his matching pjs.)

It pains me to agree with R48, but I, too was way more attracted to Son of Eugene when he was co-hosting 'The Hills' after show. It was obvious he was gay, but not glaringly, whiningly gay. That being said, even if he's typecast himself in the role of David (which he has for a few years at least), he won a few Emmys and made his dad proud. And the hallmark of a great actor is when they convince you they're the character they're playing, which Dan did for most people. He'll need to tackle a role as far away from David as possible to continue acting, though perhaps he'll be happy writing and producing instead.
