Pedretti was born on 23 March 1995 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America. Her father is of Italian descent and her maternal side traces to the Ashkenazi Jews. Victoria completed Pennsburg high school in Fairless Hills. After high school, she enrolled at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama in Pittsburgh where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2017.
Acting has been a passion so after school, she featured in short films. Her first appearance was in 2014 in the movie “Sole” where she played the role of a young girl. Her exceptional skills landed her another role that same year in another movie titled “Uncovering Eden”. All these happened at the age of just 19 years.
In 2018, Pedretti rose to fame by playing the role of Eleanor “Nell” Crain Vance in Netflix’s series “The Haunting of Hill House”. Her performance earned her a Saturn Award and MTV Award nominations in 2019. She also auditioned for the role of Guinevere Beck on another series titled “You” but was rejected. But on second thought, the directors cast her as Love Quinn in the show’s second season after seeing some of her previous works. Her performance kept her on the show to the third season.
